A few odds and ends for you guys today…
First, the Flight of the Conchords is one of the best summer shows I’m watching right now, and might be one of the best comedies on TV period. It’s on HBO, so harder for some of you to watch, but I think you can get them streamed here. It’s a very silly, very dry humor show…and also a musical if you can handle that. The two guys are folk singers from New Zealand trying to make it in New York. It’s just hilarious…they are both dimwitted, with an almost dumber manager and you can’t help but laugh at them. Give it a try.
I found a few addicting games online the last few days, you should come join in my misery:
Double Wires – Little spiderman game…short bursts work best. My record is just over 100 yards
Bloxorz – Addicting puzzle kind of game. I’ve gotten to level 25, but then closed my browser and didn’t get the password back.
Also, if anyone can tell me where to watch the first few episodes of John from Cincinnati, I’d love them forever. I have Day 3 and 4 on Tivo, but need to see the two-part Day 2. I’m dying here, all the reviews of the show say it’s getting better and better and I really want to watch it.
And, if you saw Transformers this weekend, or maybe didn’t, you still must watch the most chilling, question-riddled trailer I’ve seen in years. It’s code-named….Cloverleaf. J.J. Abrams is a genius.
