Weekend fun
// July 13th, 2007 // fun
Some weekends we don’t do much, and those are usually my favorite kind. But now and then we get a little motivation and leave our comfy house and brave the 110 degree Arizona heat to enjoy some expensive entertainment.
I should have some great reviews come Monday…we’re seeing Harry Potter tomorrow, and then Paris, Je T’aime on Sunday morning. Paris is an indie film playing up at Camelview and is supposed to be great. It’s got an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. We’ll also be watching the Dead Girl on DVD and possibly Last King of Scotland too, but who knows, that’s been sitting on our entertainment center for months now.
I’ve also started re-reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in anticipation of the final book coming out in a week and a day.
Great thing is, no class right now, so no homework. I foresee a few naps, some TV watching and a nice, relaxing weekend.
And if the monsoons decided to show up and throw a little rain and lightning my way, that would just make it better.

All I have to say is, I’m glad we’re in northeastern Tennessee and not Arizona where temperatures are 110. Our air conditioner doesn’t work and we need the whole thing replaced. It can get miserable sometimes though. Hehe.
