Drink water and stuff

When it’s humid outside, 96 degrees, cloudy and you go golfing…drink water! I got burned and dehydrated on Saturday and that pretty much killed my weekend. And I appreciate some of you who made fun of me for it…I did deserve it.

Jina was gone this weekend in Texas with her parents and sister, so I lived up being a bachelor for two days.

I actually didn’t do much.

I did buy the new Tegan and Sara CD, which is great…and I watched American Psycho and really didn’t get it that much…and saw more of Christian Bale than I thought I’d ever see. I think I need to read the book to get a good idea of what the whole point to this movie was about.

I also rewatched the old X-Files movie that I saw on the day of my wedding (If I ever forget the year I was married, I can always look up the release date of this film :) ). It was my favorite show back in those days and so the movie coming out was like the height of euphoria for us X-File fans. Now that I watch it again, it really wasn’t that great a movie and some of the delivery of lines was pretty awful. I still loved it.

Adrian and Nicky told us to watch The Soup on E! and I have to say, we really like it. Thanks guys.

Oh yeah, Always Sunny in Philadelphia returns on September 13th!

I did mow my lawn late Sunday afternoon, because despite my exhaustion and sunburn, the grass had two weeks worth of growth and dog doo, so it had to be done.

I’m not sure why I went into so much detail about my boring weekend, but I know my readers demand content and I had to write something…

…even though my little counter dropped from 4 to 2 readers over the weekend. Which is kind of depressing, but also funny to me for some reason.

    let me know if you need to borrow some aloe vera:) did you watch the soup from friday? i was crying, i was laughing so hard about that home shopping lady and the rainbow brite promo. i love that guy!

    Ahh Mikey, sometimes I wonder about you. Golf w/o water and then off to Sunsplash….just has common sense written all over it. ;-)

    As for the new Tegan and Sara CD, I think we should just agree to disagree on the quality of that product.

    But hey at least you got your lawn mowed…nothing like the look and smell of fresh cut grass…almost makes me long to have my own grass yard back…or I can just come to your house on lawn day.

    On an unrelated note we started the ‘Mozy’ back-up process this weekend…I’ll let you know how that turns out.

    Scott…have you actually heard their new CD? It came out barely a month ago :)

    Or are you just saying you hate them no matter what they do, because I’ll believe that :)

    Sad thing is, I’m going to be burning a CD copy of it for Deb so she can play it for you over and over ……..

    Good luck with Mozy…it’s pretty nice…although I’m already nearing my 2 gig limit…
