I also was going to read some of the horror by Lovecraft in the early 1900s, but wasn't sure. Gotta love Westerns and JJ Abrams. I read the novella "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson several years ago (when I found out that Stephen King credited that story as being influential in inspiring him to become a writer). It's an amazing story. I highly recommend it - especially if you like horror. Unfortunately, I think they've changed the story for the movie. The disease or infection they allude to in the trailer is actually vampirism in the book. The story was made into a movie before, in the 70s with Charleton Heston called "Omega Man." It also changed the story and made it a nuclear holocaust with mutated radiation creatures chasing him. And yeah...I'm a geek. To much useless trivia in my noggin'. Great minds think alike – those are the movies I’m looking forward to as well. Gotta love Westerns and JJ Abrams.
