Alas, no HD

I awoke this morning all set to take a picture of ESPNews HD, but there is nothing there but ugly ol’ regular SD. So sad.
I checked out DBSTalk again and there are all kinds of rumors going on. That 10am EST will be the time, that we’ll possibly get ONE new HD channel today and they rest will come slowly, over the next few weeks or months. That the new satellite is having problems so things are delayed. That we wont even get ANYTHING today or for a few days.
Anyways…frustrating to wait, but oh well. At least the network channels are in HD for next week and all the new season premiers.
I’ll pass on anything I hear.

At least, not until 2008 for ESPN News HD and a few others. But the rest are still coming.

By the way, no clue if it matters, but DBSTalk is down and been very busy all morning, so I wonder if something happened, or some people started getting channels.
Suckfest….I got up all excited and then ‘wah wah’, no new HD channels.
This wouldn’t near as big a deal, but DTV has been promising more HD for so long, it’s becoming rather tired.
I guess we will just keep waiting.
Yeah, just checked again and I don’t see anything new.
