Stuck in Vegas
// September 12th, 2007 // family
I am in Vegas for work today and a day-trip turned into an overnight stay. Had a little more work on my plate than I realized. There is nowhere really better to stay for work than Vegas because at least there is stuff to do. Like play blackjack, play poker, watch a movie, eat dinner…all in my hotel.
Of course, instead of doing all that, I’m sitting here BLOGGING. It’s because you all are so important to me, I can’t let you get by with only one blog post today.
So I don’t have much to say, but here are a few items of note:
1. Today is a new record for number of subscribers to the site via my Feedburner stats. As of today, it showed 7 readers. Awesome! Thank you! And that doesn’t include the two people who are subscribed via email to this site.
2. I added a new Discussion page…you can post random comments there for the fun of it, especially when you want to say something that may not be specific to any blog that’s here.
3. When you post comments, you can subscribe to them so that you get email notifications of replies. That’s pretty handy if you want to always keep up with the latest stuff. That Discussion page is a good one to subscribe to.
4. It sucks when you are in a town for work and didn’t bring a change of clothes. Hello clearance sales at Aeropostal and sample deodorants and toothpastes from Target. I did get a nice polo (I think) on sale for $14…not bad.
5. I’ve decided I deserve room service for having to stay at the last minute. Gotta get up and back to the plant by 6am.
6. Sorry Jina!

I of all people feel your pain Mikey! I’m stuck here in Philly for two more days…ugh. But speaking of shopping, I ran by the local mall today….I just couldn’t face going straight back to my room, and wouldn’t you know American Eagle was having a sale….lovin it.
Otherwise it’s just another biz trip….
From somewhere outside Philly…..see you this weekend.
Funny, I went to American Eagle first and I didn’t like what they had.
Of course, I told Jina I got my polo at Aeropostal and she quickly informed me that they ALWAYS have sales and I’ll likely get to wear it once or twice before it falls apart.
Eat a Philly cheese steak for me…of course there, they just call them cheese steaks.
Oohh, I know what you can do with your free time! Bring your LifeGroup back souvenirs!
