Sunday Bites for January 6th
Every week there are a ton of links I find no time to write about, so here they all are in a brief, bulleted format.
- WGA signs deal with United Artists
The strike is starting to really make headway as first Dave Letterman and now United Artists have made direct agreements with the WGA. The AMTPT is starting to get scared as cracks in their plan are forming. - SAG says no actors for Golden Globes
I suspect the show is going to be canceled as the Screen Actor’s Guild said not a single actor from the 70 nominated will appear. - Gossip Girl changing timeslots
The show is moving to Monday nights, in hopes of getting some new viewers. - Star Trek 10 spoilers, updates and plot stuff
Aint It Cool has some major links and plot points from the upcoming J.J. Abrams Star Trek 10. Read at your own risk. - New Line follows Warner Brothers
After Warner Brothers declared to go exclusively Blu-Ray, it didn’t take long for New Line to follow. Looks like the end of the format war is nigh. - Leno slapped on wrist
Jay Leno got in trouble for writing his own jokes for his first show back last Wednesday. With Mike Huckabee showing up and Leno breaking the rules, doesn’t anyone know anything in Hollywood these days? - The end of the Music Industry
Mashable says the end of the Music industry and the major four labels will happen in 2008. Do you agree?
Hope you all had a great weekend!
I’m pulling for the San Diego Chargers today, since that means Jacksonville gets to match up versus the New England Patriots next week. First the Jaguars, and then the Colts…for the Pats to lose a game, that would be the toughest path.
For myself personally, I’m kind of hoping for a Green Bay/Indianapolis Super Bowl.

Green Bay vs. Indy - woot!!!! GO PACK.
The end of the music industry? I will not believe that until it actually happens. I think it is time for the major labels to disappear, but the independents should be able to pick up steam and fill the gaps/void. Somebody has to give the industry credibility and I think that one concept will keep the major players going - perhaps just in a different capacity than it does now though. I will have to check out that guys article.
If evil Green Bay gets in the Super Bowl I will throw up.
nicky’s last blog post..Stay tuned!

hahahahah, nice
It would be awesome for a Green Bay vs Indy Superbowl….
Also dont forget Tues is the People choice awards. Although this show really generally blows, and this year will be no different, its going to be highly interesting to see if Journeyman can make favorite new show and then still not get a back 9 episodes ordered…
Leave it to others to continue to butcher the ST universe. Producers and outsiders making what they want, not what Fans want….watch this movie tank….
Concur - Packers v. Indy = good game…
