We’re having A kid!

Okay, so none of the predictions were right. Not 6, not 2…just one. One little, itty, bitty baby.

We saw the heartbeat, it was 140 beats per minute, which was strong the doc said. Probably means it’s a boy, he likely gets that from me.

The doc also turned on the speakers so we could hear it beating and that was pretty awesome. I still find it hard to believe that something so tiny has something beating inside it. I mean, what is it pumping? Blood? Through tiny veins?

It’s all absolutely amazing to me…

I’ll be scanning the pictures they gave us tomorrow at work and post them here ASAP.

    ok, so I love that it’s titled “the kid” it precious in a really weird way!
    Ok so just one, that’s all anyone needs! How precious, how exciting, how so worth waiting for! Even if it was frustrating at times! Its here, its finally here! Will you two go celebrate already!! Everyone else is; you might as well join in!
    if I remember correctly, 140 bpm is borderline (according to wivestale); and all three of my wivestale were accurate. I’m going with boy! Let’s all hope he’s got Jina’s looks and Mike’s athlectic abilities!!! Love u both, really!
    so what color for the nursery??? Oh the questions to answer!

    It was amazing! To know that we’ve made it this far and to actually see that there is a little Olbinski in there – girl or boy. It’s all very real now.

    Yeah, seeing the heartbeat was awesome. Can’t wait to get the pictures up, even if they are pretty blurry.
