One Onion that wont make me cry
// June 25th, 2008 // family
Elyla is now the size of an onion, so we’re definitely veering off from the fruit department now. I am wondering if now that we’ve got vegetables, we’ll move to meats soon.
I’m sure a small ham would work in a few weeks.
Onions are a bit like avacados for me in the fact that I really don’t like them. However, they do DIFFER in that they can be served on pizza or as RINGS, which aren’t too shabby.
So this week the little kid is finally hardening its skeleton, which up until now I guess has been pretty flabby. It’s also growing some fat around its bones and cartilage, so more and more it’s starting to look like his/her father.
Lastly this week, the baby can no longer run from the law because it has tiny little fingerprints! I can’t believe how early they form, but I guess that’s how they get ya.
Mom is doing good, seems like the headaches and stuff have passed.
We’re headed to San Diego on Friday to visit some family, so that should be a fun drive. Only 70 degrees there compared to 115 here!
Until next week!

Oooo… Onion Rings sound good right now. Too bad it’s 8:30 in the morning!
Remember that place in Sedona we went before the Nora Jones concert; BEST onion rings in Arizona! I’d take some!
I cannot wait for the week she weights 12oz and you refer to her as a perfectly aged Ribeye! mmm
Of course one day this onion will make you cry when they gets married. I know it happened to me and my onion.
You aren’t quite done with the fruit yet. You still get to do the cantelope and watermelon.
As for onions they aren’t too bad. They are in more foods than you realize.
