Orange you glad it’s week 15?

That’s right, I used a knock-knock joke to title this blog. I don’t expect anyone to forgive me for it, but I’ll get over the slip-up eventually.

navel_orange.jpgSo here we are, it’s Week 15 and our little baby is the size of a Naval Orange. I really do love oranges, but my favorites lately are those little Calfornia Clementines, or California Cuties, which are the little tangerines that taste so very delicious.

The baby this week finally has longer legs than arms, and apparently all his joints are functioning properly.

Elyla is also said to be squirming around like an orange with a life of it’s own, but Jina still wont be able to feel it.

I have to say, the day that happens…the day Jina feels it kick, and then I do…kind of freaks me out. But in a good way.

We’ve got about six weeks left until we find out if it’s an Eli or a Lyla, but it just can’t come quick enough.

Jina is doing great, although still having some issues with headaches. But her energy seems to be slowly on the rise.

On a side note, next Thursday, June 19th, is our 10th wedding anniversary. I think some people find it hard to believe we’ve been married that long, and I’m one of them.

10 years??? Amazing…that’s such a long time, and it doens’t even feel that long. More like 20.

I kid.

We celebrated the whole thing last year with our trip to San Francisco and Sausalito (pictures here). We figured we might be pregnant about now and it would be much better to enjoy the 10th anniversary a year early.

Seems like it worked out pretty well.

    Wow, 10 years! It does seem a lot longer! Congratulations! What an amazing way to celebrate, have a baby!
    When you see the baby do a full roll, that’s when it get freaky, it’s SO much like Alien!! HA HA

    I agree…they totally have. At least, the 15 weeks have gone by fast, but not the 6 years leading up to it :)

    Aww, June 19th is a big day! It’s also the day we get Drew’s Cranial Helmet. I think I like your occasion better though. ;-) Congrats on week 15.

    They come in white, but you can paint them however you want. I’m planning on some design in blue to bring out his perty blue eyes. ;)

    I agree about posting pictures. I bet you look adorable. :)
