Week 23 is here and Lyla finds a favorite spot

So we woke up on Sunday morning, Jina has me take a look at her belly because it’s all lopsided.

It seems Lyla found a fun , cozy little corner to fall asleep in and it left us with an interesting sight first thing in the morning. It was on JIna’s right side, so you had this solid bulge there and a crazy slope on the other. It was crazy looking.

I believe she ended up in that same spot later in the weekend too. I think she likes it there.

Of course, Jina starts pushing and prodding (gently of course), which sort of freaks me out, but it was cool. I think growing up as a kid you think the womb is like this solid, rock-hard cave, instead of a thin veil keeping the outside world away from the baby.

It’s just freaking crazy to see Lyla shoved up in one corner. And I know it’s going to get even crazier from what I hear.

This past weekend we purchased a few items for the baby’s room, including an off-white dresser which looks really awesome and we got at a super-discount on. We also picked out the crib, paid for it, but it wasn’t in stock and you’ll have to wait for photos.

Coming up this weekend is a big plan to clean that room out and really start going to town on it.

As things progress, we’ll post pictures! And we also need a new one of Jina soon as well.
