We’re into the double-digits!

// August 28th, 2008 // family

98 days to go according to the little display on the right.

That’s like three months and a few days. And the closer it gets, the longer the wait seems to get for some reason. I’m dying to see this little girl now.

Last night Jina was standing in the kitchen as we made dinner (hot dogs and fries!) and I bent over to give Lyla a kiss and say hello, and BOOM! she kicked right away. She hadn’t been moving for awhile before that, so I can only assume it was all me.

I just wish I could hold her in my arms already. 98 days is a long time!

So today we’re going for a Level 2 Ultrasound, which they scheduled for us because Lila’s head is a bit on the small side I guess. There is nothing to worry about, nothing alarming, this is just one of those things you have to go through sometimes. Obviously they could find something with this high level of an ultrasound, but I’m not worried.

Everything else about her is flawless and great. He brain looks perfect they said and everything else is right on.

I have some pictures to show you guys below, a few ultrasounds, a couple of Jina and one of me, with a sympathy belly.

Enjoy!

Hopefully we’ll have some high quality pictures to show you later!

    those pictures are amazing! I really like the one of Mike. Way to go Mike, playing the sympathy card!
    Jina, you look amazing! I told you that you would grow fast at the beginning and then slow down a little; you don't look 6 months pregnant! You glow!!

  6. No worries…I've been getting those hunger pains too, I guess I'm eating

    You'll see some serious growth in a few weeks.

    I found you through your Dwight Schrutte post, and I kept reading.

    I also have a daughter named Lilah. Parenthood is the most awesome thing ever. Congrats…
