Week 30 almost here

This Tuesday is Week 30 and baby Lyla seems to think it’s much later than that. The way she’s been moving around lately makes us think she’s either very ready to be born, or else she’ll be a serious spazz all her life.
Last weekend we put together the new chair and the crib, which you can see below in the pictures I’ve posted. None of them were that hard to assemble, but it still made for another busy weekend. We’ve been doing nothing but cleaning and setting stuff up for the last month it seems and now that Jina’s parents and sister Jennifir are coming out on Thursday, we’re even more frantic today.
The big baby shower is this coming Saturday and while the ladies are there playing their goofy games, some of the men will be out golfing and enjoying themselves in this nice weather we’ve been having.

These are from a week ago, and I think the room looks different even from then. Mike put together more furniture this weekend, cute Ikea shelving for the closet (storage is key), and I washed and ironed the curtains. They look better now.
After this week, he's right, it will really start to look like a baby's room, since the Jackson clan is coming in to help me spiff it up! Can't wait.
The crib is beautiful! And the chair is nice and comfy! I can't wait to see all the fine art that will adorn the room, and that tree is going to be great!

Guys, its simple.. its cause Ironman is being released on Blu-Ray 09/23 and lil Lyla is just so excited she can't contain herself… Thats how the Cap'n sees it…. =)
