Alright, we’re just over a month away from the “official” due date, which used to be December 4th, but is now allegedly November 30th. The big issue is that we did In Vitro, which throws these doctor’s completely for a loop, a fact that amazes me. I think the month delay when we had to freeze the embryos is what the problem is, but no matter what, we know it’s “somewhere” around the end of November.
In order to make this all more fun, we’re throwing a little contest to predict the birth date of Lyla. Our friend Nicky did the same thing on her blog earlier this year and thus the idea was planted in my own head to do someday.
So here it is. Predict the day Lyla will be born (and the hour for a tiebreaker) and win a cool prize from us that will be customized for whoever wins it.
Think a $20 gift card to wherever you want it to be. McDonalds, iTunes, wherever. The deadline for entering is November 4th, Election Day (just for fun).
You can enter by leaving your guess in the comments section below. Give a DATE and a TIME. The time will only be used as a tiebreaker.

Okay I know this is mean, but I really want your girls to hold out for Dec 4 or Dec 5 even if it means me losing this little contest… (Josh's b'day the 4th, mine the 5th), plus don't forget December is a much prettier birth stone.

I think Friday, November 28th would be nice. Jina, you can have your turkey and it will make you sleepy, so you will be nice and rested. But that may be a bad flight day for us, the day AFTER Thanksgiving, BUT we could have two weekends to see you then. OR, we could go with the popular 11/26 day, then we will serve you Thanksgiving dinner in the hospital … wouldn't that be nice? Also, every year we could celebrate Lyla's birthday around Thanksgiving. She would think it was all for her! SO, I'm going with 11/26 @9:23 pm (my birthday is 9/23) … okay?

I am going with Nov 30, just because that is my daughter's birthday!
Well, my sister already chose my birthday and Jina's parents went with the same day because of Grandma Jackson. So, it seems to me the only day not picked is the original day of Dec. 4th. But that'll be too late and I'm still partial, I think Lyla should be in good company on Nov 26th with me and Grandma Jackson. Since Tim & Karen went with 9:23pm and I assume Jean meant 9:33am I'm going with 3:00pm.
