Week 33 arrives

Tuesday is the start of Week 33, a place that seemed a long ways off back when all this started. Now, the due date is coming quickly and the excitement keeps growing!

Two nights ago Lyla was moving like crazy again, feet poking up out of Jina’s belly, and I could really feel her moving around like never before.

She certainly seems ready to come on out of there to me.

So the due date is November 30th I guess, but I honestly don’t think it will be that long. I’m all for her coming early.

Jina was pretty drained last week. Most nights she came home and was asleep by eight. But the weekend was nice and relaxing for both of us and I think she regained some energy. I took Friday off myself and spent some time posting photos on Facebook, then ran some errands and took a short nap in the afternoon.

It’s amazing how rejuvenating it is to have a day where everyone else is working and you are free to just wander where you want. It’s one of those rare times where slow traffic doesn’t bother you, people writing checks at the grocery store makes you smile instead of grit your teeth and the clock just isn’t a factor.

Other than the baby’s room, I think we’re all ready for her to arrive. We still have a few things to do in there, like hang some shelves, put up some pictures on the walls, and then just polish it off with a few things.

One thing that some of you haven’t seen is the tree decal we have up on one of the walls now, which totally matches the bedding in the crib. We also have the light hung up over the crib, but I need to hide the power cord with some of those wall strips.

    Jina has a great eye for this stuff…I contribute only my ability to put things together and hang stuff from walls :)

    Alright…as you know, she DOES have a place to sleep, it's a nice crib, which of course she wont even be in much right since she'll be in our room for a little while?

    Not to mention, the bear next to Mom's blanket was beautifully made by Mike's Aunt Jean. What a gifted family we have. We will finish up everything soon, and then you can all really ooh and aah…

    Hey I love the Decorefor Layla's room! If Layla is born on November 30th she will share the same birthday as my son Parker! I doubt that Jina will hold out intil the actual due date though. I am going to guess November 23rd (Thanksgiving)
