Lyla Grace arrives!

At 11:29 pm on November 22nd, 2008…weighing in at a rock solid 7 lbs, 8 ounces and measuring 20 inches long…Lyla Grace finally arrived after making her mother push for almost 3 hours.
I’ll post all about the delivery and the events that led up to it, but right now I’ve uploaded some pictures to Facebook that are available for your enjoyment.

OH MY GOODNESS MIKE! Courtney's response was “oh mom, she is beautiful, just the beautifulest.” Last night when we were waiting for the call from Aunt Karen, John and I were talking and Courtney was listening in, just you wait for those ears that don't miss a beat, and she was so excited to have a baby cousin. CONGRATULATIONS!

Oh, wow! Perfect size! She is very beautiful — really!~ not all squishy! LOL. Congratulations! I can't believe I have to wait an entire WEEK to talk to Grandma Gisela at work — wow! She's a Grandma!

Congrats!! On the 30th of this month my baby girl who as 7 pounds 7 seven ounces when born will be 18. They do grow up so fast so enjoy your time with her.
