Jina sent me this on Friday, it was a comment posted on a blog post by Whitney Matheson, otherwise known as Pop Candy over at USA Today. Yes, it’s just a comment, but dang does it make some sense or what?

(My only reason for thinking it’s not correct would be the serious foresight it would seem to have taken to make this work. Would they have been planning that far ahead, or did they just take those things and try to fit them to what they decided to do this season?)

So… When Locke got shot… well, that connects with Season One when he was with Boone and suddenly lost his ability to walk.

When Desmond wakes up from seeing Daniel, he tells Penny it wasn’t a dream, it was a memory.

In Season 1, Locke “dreams” about seeing Eko’s brother’s plane crash, and that’s how he leads Boone to the wreckage. But this wasn’t a dream either, it was a memory because he actually witnessed the plane crash.

I think this opens up a whole lot of possibilitity for the dreams, flashbacks, memories the Losties have.
