Go Cardinals!
// January 10th, 2009 // family

I know the odds are stacked against my Arizona Cardinals…they are on the road, they are on the East Coast, they are playing a team that is 8-0 at home this season, yadda, yadda, yadda. No one is picking them, no one gives them a chance.
But I do. They almost beat this team earlier in the season and if it wasn’t for two crazy turnovers, the Carolina Panthers would be 7-1 at home.
No Anquan though, so that’s not good. There isn’t much hope here, but hope doesn’t come in levels does it? You either have hope or you don’t.
I have hope today. Although as Red said:
“Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.”
But as Andy retorted later on:
Andy Dufresne: Forget that… there are places in this world that aren’t made out of stone. That there’s something inside… that they can’t get to, that they can’t touch. That’s yours.
Red: What’re you talking about?
Andy: Hope.
Hope baby. Hope.

Good!
Mike we were watching right along with you on Saturday. And today root’n for the Eagles as well. Josh and I decided we loved the Cardinals more than we hated the Eagles, John and Luke weren’t so sure. But we are all excited for next weekend. They seem unstoppable right now and can only hope for Super Bowl.
BTW, the guys did make it to the game a couple of weeks ago. What a great experience for Luke and Josh. Thanks for steer’n us in the right direction for tickets.
