I hate it when my blog goes without a post for a day or two…it feels so naked and boring…almost useless. I think the blog itself goes into a state of shock or grief when I don’t pay enough attention to it and this morning I heard it crying out to me…”blog something Mike…please, for the love…blog SOMETHING.”

Now, that could have been my blog, or it could have been Tyler last night, who knows. Either way, I find myself without a real topic, so I figured a random post was the only way to get something done.

So I haven’t watched last night’s Fringe episode, but dang do I love this show. Last week was great and it just seems to get better and better. My only beef with the show is that I feel like the characters just aren’t as developed as they should be. I need to CARE more for them then I do.

Why do I love American Idol so much? I dunno, but I do. I even said to Jina last night…”wow, an hour episode seems short for some reason. I miss the TWO hour ones from a week or two ago.” I know, I’m sick.

The Amazing Race returns this Sunday February 15th and holy crap am I looking forward to it. My all-time favorite reality show…never loses its luster for me.

Oh yeah, Happy LOST day everyone!

Jina and I have been waiting for Vicky Cristina Barcelona to come out on DVD and it finally did yesterday. I’ll let you know if it’s any good.

We also got his and her iPod Touches a few weeks back and I’m loving mine. When Lyla falls asleep on my lap on the couch, I can use it to play a quick game, read my email or browse Facebook/Twitter without waking her up or  bringing my clunky laptop over. Beautiful. Oh yeah, it plays music too.

Speaking of, I bought The Dark Knight soundtrack for my iPod and it’s pretty good. Not as awesome as I was hoping, but good.

School is going okay…I’m in week three already of my first class, so it’s flying by.

It hit 29.1 degrees F at our house this morning. Yikes.

I’m excited about this new pilot being shot for the fall: Day One. Seems like it will be a Jericho type show that could be much more interesting.

There is a brand new comic book series coming out called The Wondeful Wizard of Oz. The art is amazing looking and the story seems to be right on with the book. I’m going to get the series and save them for Lyla to read to her one day. I loved The Wizard of Oz when I was a kid and it might be fun to see if Lyla enjoys them too. I’ve had two chicken biscuits from McDonalds in the span of 4 days. Not good. But I really do love their Diet Coke in the mornings.
