The Simpsons goes HD, new opening

I’ve always liked The Simpsons, I’ve just never really watched it. Not sure why, but while I always laugh, I have no desire to see it every week.

That will probably stay the same in the near future, but I think it’s pretty cool when a long-running show finally goes HD (Thanks Scrubs! And come on Amazing Race, it’s time already!).

The Simpsons finally went high-def Sunday night and even tossed in their first new opening since it debuted in 1989. TWENTY YEARS ago. Holy crap.

(My favorite part of the new opening is Bart writing on the chalkboard – so true Bart…so true)
