Let’s talk about Lost!

Hmmm…I actually don’t have a ton to talk about after watching last night’s newest Lost episode. It was a Miles-centric story, not one that was awful, just somewhat predictable…until we got to the very end. Still, there were a lot of little things that came out of this episode, so let’s get right to it.

*spoilers lie ahead!*

The ep was called “Some like it Hoth” which was awesome. If you don’t know what Hoth is, you obviously either haven’t seen Empire Strikes Back or haven’t seen it a hundred times like me *grin*

Was anyone surprised to find out that Dr. Chang was Miles’ father? I think most people have been predicting it for awhile now. Not sure about you guys, but that little scene with Miles looking in on his father reading him a book as a baby was kind of touching.

One of the major developments to come from this episode is the fact that it appears the mysterious Ilana and Bram (“in the shadow of the statue”) are connected to Ben and not Widmore.

Which kind of blows my theory of what (or who) is inside that giant metal case.

We also get confirmation via Miles talking to a dead guy for Naomi, that Widmore did indeed order a plane and did something with empty graves. It’s certain now that he planted the fake Oceanic 815 plane at the bottom of the ocean.

Now, the big shocker was Daniel Faraday showing up on the submarine. How did he get back to the mainland and why?

If you missed this video from Comic Con last year (I was there to see it!), check it out…looks very, very interesting doesn’t it?

One thing I am curious about…they keep talking about this “purge” like it’s imminent…but Ben was a lot older when he did it, wasn’t he? So it shouldn’t be for a few years yet right?

Also, if you missed the chalkboard in the classroom that Jack was cleaning:

I did love seeing these hatches being built…especially the original Swan. Hurley getting this amazing opportunity to see the numbers being etched in the door was awesome.

The one thing I’m confused about though is the Orchid station. The construction site made it look like a 3-4 story building, but I don’t remember it looking like that. Maybe it was torn down or something? What am I missing?
