A story for Star Wars day

// May 4th, 2009 // family

In case you didn’t realize it, today is Star Wars Day.

Why you ask? Think about the date. May…4th….

Oh duh. “May the 4th be with you.

Now does it make sense? I love this kind of crap…nerds unite!

Story time…

So this weekend, we threw a little shindig for my brother and his new bride to celebrate their nuptials. He and Jennifer came over, along with her brother Joe and his girlfriend.

During the conversation, I mentioned something about how my brother used to look like that kid from the old Fox Trot comic strip —>

Then I got to thinking, and I said “Wow, I actually have some pictures of him lying around where I’m SURE you can see how they look similar.”

So I jumped up as Jason started to argue that I really didn’t need to go looking for them. I said whatever.

And so he blurts out with:

No…stop…these aren’t the droids you’re looking for!”

OMG. I have to tell you…I about fell over laughing whilst I kept walking to find the pictures.

Classic line, hilarious delivery…

Maybe you had to be there, but it was one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a long time.

Happy Star Wars Day!

(As a bonus, enjoy the picture below…always found it funny)
