American Idol: Who will win?

Who’s going to win tonight? I want to hear some predictions.

Jina and I spent a good portion of the latter part of the evening watching the Nuggets versus Lakers, but in reality, we were plugging away on our cell phones trying to vote as much as we could for Kris.

It was tough. I think there will be a record number of votes tonight, because the lines were busy more often than not.

The episode last night was kind of “meh” in my opinion. I really hated the song Kara & Company wrote, and Simon obviously did too. It was horribly cliche and doesn’t fit the style of either Kris or Adam.

What also baffled my mind was Simon Fuller picking songs for these guys, and then the judges critique them saying the song just wasn’t that great.

Anyone else tired of hearing about song choices? I swear…a few years ago it was nothing but “you were a little pitchy dawg” and now it’s “I just didn’t like the song.”

How can the song be a problem if the contestant didn’t get to pick it out???

Also…I used to think Adam was awesome, and he is great, but his screaming has become annoying. You end up waiting through every song wondering when the screaming will start. I’m over it.

I also don’t get the judges absolute love affair with the guy. Kris has been just as good, more relevant for today’s music. But they don’t see it.

I think it will be Adam’s downfall…people love an underdog and thusly I declare Kris the winner tonight.

And even if he loses, it may be better for him in the long run…because he wont have to sing that ridiculous song by Kara.

(speaking of Kara…I used to like her as a judge…a breath of fresh air compared to Paula…but it might be possible that I hate her even more than Paula now. Anyone with me?)
