It was encouraging! Seeing Dave Ramsey's Town Hall for Hope got Shawn and I all re-energized again and we re-committed ourselves to the budget thing too. We'd been doing okay, but like you said, we realized how much better we COULD be doing. Thank heavens for Dave Ramsey and his ministry! We'd still be enslaved to debt and totally stressed out about our finances right now if it wasn't for him. Stay strong! I'm seriously pondering that, I know the Kleins and Eeds have done it already, maybe Scott and Deb too? I know that isn't much...but it's the little things really. Change car insurances for something cheaper, find cheaper homeowners insurance, call any credit card companies and get them to lower the interest rate, maybe look at refinancing a car loan to get a better rate and lower payment, etc... Daireth has been doing a lot of this kind of stuff, you might call her :) I can't imagine the stress you guys are under with all that...I know God will be faithful and provide a way out of it... We aren't that good! :) I really think that it has helped that a few of our friends are doing the same thing right now. It makes it easier to know you aren't doing it alone. And we can talk about the challenges and temptations. Not to mention, when we go out to eat or to the mall, we are mindful of each other's commitment. That helps!
