The first trailer for Sherlock Holmes

I’ve been a fan of Sherlock Holmes ever since my mom dropped into my lap two giant volumes that contained every single story Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ever wrote about the beloved detective. As a kid, it was slow reading, some parts hard to understand, but my imagination was captured by this guy who could solve any crime and know where a person had been that day just by looking at their shoes.

So there is little doubt I got excited when a new film adaptation was announced some time ago. And I anticipated it even more when Robert Downey Jr. was selected as the guy to play Holmes.

Jude Law plays Dr. Watson, and Rachel McAdams is also in the film.

The first trailer was just released, there are two very funny moments, but it just looks awesome. Tell me what you think! Films comes out on Christmas Day. Watch the trailer after the Read More link…

    I’m so very very intrigued. I don’t get out to many movies since becoming a mommy, this summer looks like return to the theater for me, with Star Trek and now Sherlock Holmes, I don’t think I have a choice. Thanks for sharing

    No problem Tami…it definitely is a good summer for movies, although Sherlock Holmes isn’t until X-Mas :)
