At Lyla's age my kids always slept on the plane because the noise is so loud it was calming for them. But we did have some trouble with ear pressure at landing so try to give her a bottle then or a pacifier (the sucking helps pop their ears is what I have been told). Have fun on your first trip away with a baby. It definetly is a different kind of vacation but still wonderful! Miss you guys! Good luck on the plane.
