Awesome art from Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’

Wow, I had no idea Tim Burton was doing a new Alice in Wonderland movie. I read the book as a kid and rank it up there with The Wizard of Oz in terms of fantasy stories for children.
The idea of Burton taking that story and turning it into his own imagined world is very intriguing. Listen to some of the cast members: Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Crispin Glover, Alan Rickman, Christopher Lee (as the Jabberwock!) and others.
I guess the plot isn’t going to be the original from the story, but a sequel of sorts. It takes place when Alice is 17 years old and gets a marriage proposal. She runs off, only to fall down the rabbit hole again, but this time has no memory of being there before.
It’s set for a March 5, 2010 release.

Tim Burton creeps me out… not to mention his equally creepy wife.
I can’t even begin to put into words how excited I am about this project!!! (Although I secretly wish they were following the plotline laid out in American McGee’s “Alice”… but that’s okay.) I’m obsessed with anything Alice. I’ll be first in line for this one!!!

Yeah, it looks cool but I can’t even begin to imagine how strange it’s going to be.

I can’t freaking wait for this film! It is going to be so cool, and I’m dying to see the Cheshire Cat etc.. as well as the trailer!
