New weather photo gallery
// August 4th, 2009 // photography, weather
As you all know, I started a weather blog called Haboobing a month or so ago and while I would love to keep it going and updated, I just find myself wanting to spend less time on the computer these days. So I’m just going to post everything here.
Anyways, I still love to take weather photos and my newest hobby has been lightning shots. For that that didn’t visit Haboobing the last month, you may have missed out on them. Sadly there haven’t been any storms for a few weeks now, but I think it will pick up this week.
I’ve posted some of my favorites below and you can visit the new gallery I’ve added right here. I’m putting them all on Flickr anyways, so it’s just a stream of photos coming from there.
Most of these are taken south of my house past Hunt Highway out in the desert.

This one is interesting because the lightning allows you to see a fire burning from a previous lightning strike. It was taken looking towards Ahwatukee.

Here is a shot of a thunderstorm from an airplane on my way to San Diego.

Finally, a great sunrise looking towards the Superstitions.

i’ve seen them before… but i still think they are fantastic!
