The Amazing Race contest standings!

I’m so sorry that I’ve not updated the standings or written any recaps of late. Vacation, work and now even more work the next two weeks has kept me entirely too busy to write much of anything.

However, I AM finally caught up on our little Amazing Race show and it’s been pretty chippy lately. Stealing taxi cabs (Sam and Dan!), not being polite (Brian!), elbows (allegedly) and all kinds of whining and complaining.

Towards the end of the last episode, both Jina and I predicted either a non-pit-stop that was a continuation to another leg next week or a non-elimination. Not a surprise since we really hadn’t seen many previews for the season finale the following week.

This season hasn’t been awesome, but I do enjoy it still. The bickering brothers have been fun and I love the Globetrotters.

Contest Standings

So after two weeks of no updates, here are the standings. I’m fairly certain Dave will win this thing now.

Next year I’m going to throw in a few more kinks into the system. Like if a team gets a Fast Forward you get a bonus, or if you get to the mat and it’s non-elimination, you get a bonus. Stuff like that.
