Late in the evening, still light out, set the aperture to F29 to allow for some longer exposures This was just a 20 second exposure...some nice strikes in that short time! The foreground here you can see the Superstition mountains and the cornfield right out in front of me. Crazy power here, this one strike blinked about 3-4 times, hence the insanely strong light

Description: All these strikes were taken from Higley and the 202 on the northeast corner. I've taken shots from there before and it's high enough to see lightning crossing the Mesa/AJ area from all the way in Chandler/Gilbert. The storm came in from the NE and moved SW across Mesa/Tempe...so I just had to change the angle I was shooting. This was over the course of just about an hour.
